I don’t know why I have not reviewed any of my Josie Maran products yet…but I LOVE Josie Maran products! I’ve been using the original Argan oil for years now and can always trust it to come to my skin’s rescue whenever I need it, even on days when I’ve had bad reactions from other products. The Whipped Argan Oil Face Butter is a new addition and I obviously had to try it out for myself. Keep reading for my review.

Performance
I already mentioned that I love most Josie Maran Argan oil products. I really like how this face butter instantly absorbs into the skin without leaving any greasy residue. My skin has been irritated lately, mainly because of allergies and the heat. I’m finding that this face butter is helping to calm down redness and inflammations. This is very hydrating…I was actually not expecting it to be this hydrating. You only need a small amount. It is a tad bit heavy for my skin during these summer days and it’ll be better suited for use during the winter days when skin tends to get dry. My skin is surprising oily/combo this summer and I’m finding most of my summer skincare products are a little too heavy this summer. Overall this is a really good product, it hydrates, calms and heals skin…it does not contain any fragrances and I find argan oil never irritates your skin. I would highly recommend this products to all you folks out there with normal to dry skin, but I think this is definitely a winter moisturizer.
